Few days ago, I was talking with my friend Fraz, when out of nowhere he told me he dreaded that Imran Khan will be killed (Fraz is die hard fan of Nawaz Sharif but also a true lover of Pakistan, thus care about all our GOOD MEN ), not in near future but when the outrage for May 12 massacre cools down MQM will come after Imran Khan.
At that moment I dismissed his idea, arguing that Imran Khan is too big of a leader for MQM to even think about killing him. But in the last few days, the more i think about his fear the more I realize that it is more than possible, specially his point that they will kill him when every thing is settled down and no body will even think that they are behind his killing.
Take a look at MQM s' history, it is filled with these kinds of incidents since its inception. This will certainly not be the first time they will be doing target killing. Nobody and I mean nobody can criticize MQM and live happily after in Pakistan. Apart from killing the countless unknown public of Pakistan, they have not shy away from killing influential people.
They have killed former Sindh Governor Hakim Mohd Saeed. The party is also accused of involvement in the Nishtar Park bombing on 11 April, 2006 as well. The blast killed the entire Sunni Tehrik leadership in religious gathering marking the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallalaho-alahe-wasalam). What happened after what they did to these leaders. Inquiries with no results, while the killers roam free in the streets of Karachi.
After the May12 massacre in Karachi, Imran Khan has strongly criticized MQM leadership. One of the many leaders who with their actions and words have made it clear who they think is responsible for the killings. It can be said that Imran Khan has arguably emerged as the strongest critic of Altaf Hussain, even going as farther as dubbing Altaf Hussain as a major terrorist and also committing to file a case against the MQM Quaid for killing innocent people in London. This is a major statement against Altaf Hussain and I am certain that Imran Khan has become a Major thorn in the eyes of MQM. Apart from that Imran Khan is openly criticizing Altaf Hussain on all TV Channels.
In the last 2 or 3 days Karachi, wall chalking against Imran Khan has been done in different surroundings of Karachi. The slogans against him are awkward and shameless consisting of DISGRACEFUL and INDELICATE remarks mostly. This gives an indication of MQM resentment against Imran Khan.
But now is not an opportune time to kill him. Despite all its terrorist activities, MQM is a very smart Party. They will wait until the right moment. When the storm has died down, they will try to Kill Imran Khan. Why not? It will be a big statement from them. If you come after us, this is whats going to happen to you. There is noting better than the fear of death, the motto of MQM. They are already feeling the heat of May12. Most of Karachi resident had began to distance themselves from MQM for sometime now, but the killings has accelerated the pace. They can see themselves loosing most of Karachi . Whats the easiest way of putting fear back in the heart of Karachi. Kill Imran Khan, their most vocal critic and MQM will have shown the whole Karachi again that no body messes with us and lives to see another day. With one killing they can regain control of Karachi.
My only hope is that mine and Fraz fear does not come true. Imran Khan is a good man. He is different from other leaders of Pakistan. Whether you like him or not, you have to respect his truthfulness in political matters. He calls a spade a spade. Has clear visions about Pakistan. Has firm commitment towards establishing law and order in Pakistan ( his Party had Judiciary Independence as its agenda for as long as i remember). You don't expect this from a Pakistani Leader. We need more leaders like him specially in PPP and PML(N), his killing will put fear in all those who inspires to speak the truth. It will not only be a killing of a Man, but will result in putting the new found Political awareness among Pakistan public backward many years.
I just pray for the safety of Imran Khan and hope that MQM doesn't do what I think they will do.

Imran Khan is not a leader, he made leader by MQM replying every thing of the criketer, Imran have no leadership qualities, (may be some people not agree) but runer of a shop can not run an Industry.
As a Pakistani we need a dynamic leadership not conventional which is provided by MQM in shape of Altan Husain, and number of leaders to the nation, only Karachi is a model place where you can see the development and disipline and use of new technology at city Govt. level.
In democaracy every one convey their feelings. its mine.

Aoa! I am really a big fan of you(Mr Imran khan). I mean in both termenologies, i-e; cricket and politics.
I want to see you as a president of pakistan. I really support your views and specially when you call PERVAIZ MUSHARF as GENERAL MUSHARAF instead of PRESIDENT MUSHARAF.
I want to see you as a biggest leader of pakistan bcz you are a true personality.
There is no member of your party in several areas of pakistan, therefore, you must spread the list of your members so that you could compete well.... your biggest fan --- M.SABIH TOOR from WAZIRABAD 0333-8203512

brother you donot know pakistani politics, person like Imran khan will be amazed how MQM made a simple person like IShrat ul ibad as a governer and mustafa kamal as mayor of worlds 7th bigest city. he is not a leader for us but I know punjabi people are very imotional and they thought every person who knows talking is there leader.even they praise Nawaz sharif who spend 7 years in saudiarabia without connecting pakistani(punjabi) people.
Donot stress your life about MQM this party is beyond your imaginations.this is true party for urdu speaking people.and Altaf hussain is our true leader who never took any MNA,MPA,Governer and Mayor office beside he can easily get.this is his true loyality with his cause.

I think Imran Khan belongs to "hazara" ethinicity. These hazara people are the worst people in Pakistan. Hatred, bias and lie is the part of their personality. So is, naturally, Imran Khan.
MQM made a mistake by doing wall-chalking against him. Quickly realized its mistakes and cleaned it from Karachi.
The best response to Imran Khan's hue and cry is to keep quite. Responding to him is like giving him benefit and helping him prolong his political career. Their is no match of MQM vis-a-vis Imran Khan.
I agree with the opinion of writer of this post. MQM do kill people but of some significant importance. Killing Imran Khan will not be in interest of MQM.
In my opinion MQM will kill only one man. And his name is Naseerullah Babar. You will hear one day, he will be killed (possibly along with his family) by unknown killers.
This will happen before he will die his natural death.

Bush made many implicit and explicit deals before the 9/11 controlled demolition operation.
One deal with Musharraf and the MQM (Mohajir Qaumi Movement) was to establish a Permanant Mohajir Khalifate in exchange for help in establishing a Stalinist state in the US based on affirmation of the 9/11 lie.

Once I was the great admirer of Imran Khan as a cricketer and even more when he gave Shoukat Khanum Hospital to the ailing masses of this country. But entering politics showed his future mindset. He is a misfit person for politics as he has a hired agenda of vested interests. The way he is playing in the hands of agencies and vested interests, is very dangerous for Pakistan and its masses. He is trying to isolate one community from rest of the communities of Pakistan which shows his future plans. There is no need to kill him. He is dying his own death which has started from his own house. Jamaima has left him, nation has already forgotten him and the last nail in his coffin is his departure from politics. To be a vocal and loud does not mean that he is sincere to the entire nation. He has his vested agenda trying to execute through agencies which ultimately fail and will be buried the way he is dying on his own.

I hope tht muneeb's fears never materialize. For whatever the people have to say about Imran Khan tht he is a sportsman and should remain one(i-e, not enter into politics), Imran Khan is one personality who truly emulates the qualities of an inspirational leader. He is an asset to our nation. We are a nation that has lost its spirit, and need Imran to bring that back.
MQM knows better not to lay their hands on him, for if they do, it will not only create unrest in our country, the international community will also not let MQM off scot free. Besides being a political figure, Imran's sportsmanship and his philanthropy serve as a protective shield that is rather hard to penetrate.
Besides all that, he is still a good looking guy and if not anybody else's our mothers' and aunts' prayers will protect this one hearthrob from being murdered by goons just like tht!

Nop i dont think so because thay are cowards backed by army, and altaf is pretty much smart he will not do naything which will keep him behind bars of u.k. Imran already highlight mqm as a terrorist in U.k so if Imran get nay harm it will backlash to altaf, I think thay will wait for few years

No I dont want to spill fear in to the minds of others and definitely i am not trying to create hatred among pakistani people as I truly believe that Pakistan belongs to every body (punjabi, sindhi, balochi, mohajir, pashtoo)
Its just a thought which me and my friend discussed which I wanted to share with others
I may have my own political affiliation but there is no denying the fact that MQM is a political party with a vote bank, its just that I loathe their gunda gardi as displayed by them here and there
And I do pray for the safety of Imran Khan
